How To Manifest Anything With Just A Pen and Paper

This post is a little different than my regular posts. I’m actually going to tell you about a dream that stayed with me long after I awakened.

The other night I had a dream that I was in a bin of paper that had been thrown out. The place seemed like a warehouse for recycling. There were many bins throughout the building. While I was in the bin, I noticed that there were all kinds of paper…calendars, planners, journals, notepads, sticky notes, etc. I started to pick up some of the them to check them out and I noticed that the pages were barely used. People had written in them once or twice and the rest of the book was blank.

So, I decided that I would take some of the paper and reuse it. I went looking for all the pink paper. I found a few bins of just pink paper. I grabbed as much as I could, tearing out the used pages and keeping the rest.

Unbeknownst to me, a crowd of women were forming behind me, watching me grab paper. When I was done, they all rushed the bins to get some as well. As I was leaving I was stopped by an official who asked me to come and speak to three young boys on the keys to living a successful life.

After sitting and talking with the young men for a few minutes. I shared with them one very important key that my father had taught me. My father played a very integral part in me developing success habits that I still use to this day.

One thing he told me that has made such a huge impact on my life is this:

Write down your goals and look at them often.

Since I was a teen, I’ve written my dreams and goals and reviewed them often to chart my progress along the way. And if at some point I got stuck, then I would write my way out. By writing my thoughts, writing brain dumps, strategizing on paper, dreaming on paper…all of these writing exercises have helped me shape my success over the years.

When I awakened from the dream, it felt so real to me. I couldn’t stop thinking about the bins of paper…then it hit me…the paper in the bins were a representation of why people are not living their life to the fullest.

Their lives were stuck, just like the paper in the bin…their dreams and goals are just sitting, wasting away. I could see how people were so excited to write down what they wanted in life but they just didn’t finish the process. Some calendars had one or two months filled in but nothing for the rest of the year.
Some notepads had one or two lists on them and then blank.

this went on and on…I began to realize that people start to write their success story but because they didn’t stick with it, they are not seeing the results that they truly desire.

In so many ways, through this dream, I felt like God was confirming to me the true power of journaling and why it is so important to our success in life.

Because I had so many thoughts flooding my mind about this dream, I began to write in my journal everything that came to me. As I was writing, I started thinking about clients who changed their life around by writing their way out.

One of my clients was an inconsistent journaler. She’d write for a couple of days but as soon as something sprang up, she’d get all frazzled and skip out on writing. Once she started using the Success Journal, she challenged herself to write on every single page until the whole book was full. As she was writing every day, morning and night she began to develop all these new ideas for her business, which generated an extra $7000. Since that time she has increased her monthly income every month. The kicker was when she said things were happening for her just like she has written it in her journal. Needless to say, her business is booming and she quickly became wealthy; and she continues to write in her journal because she realizes this to be the secret of her unlimited manifestations.

Another woman wrote me recently to share how journaling changed her life. More specifically keeping a gratitude list in her journal became an anchor for increase in her life. She had recently been in dire straits and feeling low. She had quit her job to launch her business but was stuck in a rut. She started writing lists of everything that she was grateful for in her Success Journal and reading the list out loud to herself every night. After the very first time, she began to instantly feel better about her life and her situation. She kept this up for weeks and during that time, she received an unexpected check for $2500 in the mail. Turns out an old client had paid their bill in full. Before that moment she thought she’d never get that money. The check prompted her to write an affirmation that every debt owed to her would be speedily and immediately paid in full. Within weeks, she received other checks in the mail, including one from the government for overpaid taxes. She said that nothing was happening in her life and business until she started writing her gratitude list and writing about what she wanted, instead of complaining about her circumstance.

There is so much power in putting pen to paper and simply writing about what you want. The key is to do it daily…don’t give up. Don’t be like the people in my dream who only wrote on just a few pages and left their dreams to die. Become a real writer of your own destiny. Push yourself to finish a journal. Fill the pages with your thoughts, ideas, dreams, goals, aspirations, inspirations and valuable information.
